Tango Telecom, a leading provider of advanced messaging, real-time charging and policy control solutions, has been awarded contracts to deploy iAX SMS, its advanced messaging technology, in the Zain Ghana and Zain Madagascar mobile networks.

July 15th 2009, Tango Telecom, a leading provider of advanced messaging, real-time charging and policy control solutions, today announced that it has been awarded contracts to deploy iAX SMS, its advanced messaging technology, in the Zain Ghana and Zain Madagascar mobile networks.
iAX SMS, Tango Telecom's high capacity next-generation messaging platform, enables prepaid and postpaid charging, storage and delivery of A2P, P2P and P2A messages and enables advanced revenue generating messaging services from a single high performance platform. The solution is deployed on the proven Tango iAX Platform, a platform which is at the core of some of the highest capacity SMS networks worldwide.
iAX SMS is fully extensible to offer revenue generating & VAS services such as SMS Broadcast, SMS Router & Content Management Services, Anti-Bullying, Anti-Spam, SMS Advertising and a range of other VAS features. The Tango iAX platform enables interoperability between all network types, IP/WiMax, GSM and CDMA, to ensure future proofing of the investment for the operators as they expand and enhance their network coverage.
