Types of finance offered

Venture finance, whether in the form of working capital loans or equipment-backed loans and leases, permits the founder shareholders and early stage venture capital providers to leverage equity already in place, often reducing the need for further expensive rounds of equity financing.

Venture finance can be used to fund general corporate expenditure, increasing the interval between venture capital rounds. Alternatively, venture finance can be used to acquire fixed and other assets while all other monies available can be directed towards the key drivers of the business, the people, the innovative ideas and the resulting products. Venture finance therefore provides tommorow's successful companies with a source of backing complementary to venture capital, in a form which is less dilutive of the investee company's equity.
